The Browns held onto the lead through the entire game with a final at 32-13.
CLEVELAND (WJW) – The battle for Ohio got top billing on Monday Night Football and the Cleveland Browns came out on top, 32-13.
The Browns came into Week 8 in a crucial AFC North game against the Cincinnati Bengals (3-3) with four straight losses.
They got off to an early start with a fantastic interception, though they weren’t able to capitalize on the effort, missing a field goal.
The Bengals also got their own interception not long afterward, with the game still scoreless through the end of the first.
Thanks to Nick Chubb, the Browns landed their first touchdown in the second quarter. It was the first touchdown of the game. The score was 8-0.
The Browns came back strong at the start of the third as the first team to score a touchdown against the Bengals in a second half.
Cleveland scored another in the third after Brissett threw a 40-yard pass to Amari Cooper. They then led 25-0.
The Bengals finally made their way onto the board with a touchdown at the beginning of the fourth quarter, the score 25-6.
Then, an 11-yard run to the end-zone by Chubb raised the Browns’ lead 32-6.
Tee Higgins brought one home for Cincinnati, but it wasn’t enough.
